The Universe is made of stories, not of atoms.

— Muriel Rukeyser, poet and social activist

Attention all fans of “The Moth” Storytelling Hour or of listening to  friends and family tell their stories on the front porch or at the  kitchen table…

This program offers an evening of fun, spirited community-minded storytelling entertainment and the possibility of a little universal uplift and  enlightenment too!

In the first hour of the program, we sit back and listen (often on the edge of our seat) to professional storytellers offer their talents of telling true stories from real  life experience and observations.

This first hour  is followed by an invitation for audience members to  put names in the hat and get ready to “let the wild rumpus begin” when impromptu tellers get on their feet to tell their own 5- minute story from life, regardless of one’s level of experience.

Warning:  True Storytelling can become contagious …and positively advantageous for community and beyond.

Featuring award-winning storytellers, Helena Leet-Pellegrini and Bruce Marcus

Drop your name in the hat to tell your own 5 minute story drawn from life!

Hosted by Cheryl Perreault

Cheryl Perreault Ed. D. is a spoken word artist with a background in psychology and education.

She  hosts and produces”Wake up and Smell the Poetry” and “Meet Your Neighbor” for HCAM-TV and has facilitated true storytelling programs for community which include “The Mothra True Storytelling, ” and Bittersweet True Storytelling.”
