Drawing Outdoors: From Sketch to Finish

July 28, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Whether you’re planning a trip out of town or enjoying your own backyard, grab your sketchbook!

Join artist Linda Bond to record the landscape and architecture, as well as the smaller details we come across during outings in and around town. The natural world shines in the summer, light defining the form, texture and color of our rich surroundings. Later in the week, the information you captured in your sketchbook will be used to develop finished representational and abstract drawings or paintings. This technique of “note taking” is a useful way to collect information when traveling, to awaken new inspiration for studio work, and to generate ideas quickly. This class is open to those with or without experience.

***Please note, this class is part of a series. Register here.***
