This 6-week class is appropriate for beginners, as well as for students who wish to continue to learn and practice felting techniques through a series of weekly or biweekly projects. We will explore wet and dry, 2 and 3 dimensional felt making in the company of others in a live Zoom setting. Occasionally students may need to work on their own between classes in order to complete projects. Except for a few items easily found at home, all materials will be supplied, and must be picked up at the AIC prior to the class. Alternatively, they can be shipped for a small additional fee.

Instructor: Elizabeth Stubbs is a felt artist living and working in Nahant, Massachusetts. She has a BFA from Boston University School for the Arts in painting, and has spent many years as a fine artist, illustrator, and teacher. She also holds a MEd from Antioch University in Early Childhood with a Waldorf certificate. It was during this teacher training that she was first exposed to the art of felt making and has been making felt for over 20 years. She teaches felt making classes and workshops in the greater Boston area.
