A different project for each class! Each class is a self-contained unit.
Using just two rectangles of fabric and a little creativity, you can make these fun, colorful and practical fabric boxes – they are great for holding almost anything, from crayons to cosmetics to dog leashes. This class will teach you about templates, seam allowances, interfacing, lining, and boxed bottoms. These make great gifts!
Creative sewing sessions will let beginners have fun with fabric and design while teaching the basics of sewing on a machine. This is a project-based class where you will learn how to operate a sewing machine, accurately cut fabric, and complete fun fabric projects that will expand your creative skills. We may also do a bit of hand sewing to finish some projects.
There will also be 2 hours after class to use the sewing machines without the help of the instructor.
Tools required
If you have a sewing machine in good working order – please bring your machine, its manual, and bobbins to every class.
