Landscape to Abstraction
September 17 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Friday, repeating until October 15, 2021
Come experience the exhilarating creative thought process of studying the lines of the land. We will learn how to decipher the landscape through its language of line and transfer that idea onto canvas. From there, we’ll turn our canvas in different directions, reacting to the new language of line created and carve out abstract paintings. Harnessing the power of brushstroke, we will also focus on creating lush landscapes. This class is open to all levels of students.

Working from the the line of the land, building up layers and transparencies, emphasizing the power of brushstrokes her work is about a contained chaos, yet in a structured way – whether it be more representational landscape or a movement towards full abstraction.
