SUMMARY:Printmaking Off the Press: Pochoir Landscape Prints
DESCRIPTION:Join printmaking instructor Carol Ryan to learn how to make colorful landscape prints using pochoir\, a stencil based art technique. Pochior is know for its bold shapes and vibrant colors\, created by applying ink through hand-cut stencils. No printmaking experience required.  Registration closes Sept 8. \n  \nIn this workshop : \n-Learn the basics of Pochoir \n-Create stencils inspired by landscapes \n-Print using brushes and sponges to apply ink \n-Layer colors to create several finished prints on printmakers paper \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 3 \nMaximum # of Students: 6 \nCost: $85 (plus a $30 materials fee paid to instructor) \nDate: Two Thursdays\, Starting Sept 11 & 18 (10am-1pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
