Printmaking Series for Teens

July 21 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Join printmaker Stacy Friedman for a fun and exciting 4-day printmaking workshop for teens. Each day will focus on a different technique which will include experimental prints using found objects, using hand-cut stencils and linocuts, and drypoint. Create your own unique images, mix inks to get just that perfect color, learn how to use different methods of printing, including how to use the Rembrandt printmaking press, and walk away with multiple prints that you have created yourself!

Cost: $175 (all materials included)

Instructor: Stacy Friedman is a Boston-based artist, instructor, and collaborative printer. She received a BFA in Printmaking and History of Art from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her work uses a variety of printmaking techniques to explore themes of lineage, memory, and identity. She has been exhibiting her work nationally and teaching printmaking at local art institutions.
