In this beginner-friendly teen sewing workshop\, you will build real skills. \nLimited seats available.  Registration closes October 14. \nSession by session you will learn to cut fabric\, layer a quilt\, operate a sewing machine\, and hand-tie\, and blanket stitch a beautiful lap quilt measuring 36″×42″ from start to finish.  Select from a curated selection of coordinated designer fabrics\, threads\, and yarns to make a quilt that’s uniquely yours. \nWhat you’ll learn: \n\nBasic machine sewing techniques\nFabric cutting and quilt layering\nTraditional hand-tying method\nBlanket stitch edging\n\nWhat You’ll Take Home: \n\nYour finished hand-tied lap quilt — ready to use\nLeftover fabric and yarn\nPrinted step-by-step sewing instructions for future projects\n\n  \nPrerequisite: No experience needed \nMin # of Students: 4 \nMax # of Students: 6 \nCost: $95 ($10 materials fee paid to instructor) \nDate: Three Thursdays (3:45 pm-5:15 pm) Oct 15\, 22 & 29 \nInstructor: Carson Eddy \n  \nClasses that do not meet the minimum enrollment will be canceled.
