SUMMARY:Two Session Workshop: Floral Applique
DESCRIPTION:Contemporary appliqué is a quilting technique that provides an opportunity to explore a meditative slow-stitching approach to fiber art. In this two-session class\, you will create your own unique floral motif on a linen background. This appliqué project is intricate yet delicate\, showcasing layers of hand-sewn fabrics and embellished with lace and simple embroidery. Please bring reading glasses if needed\, along with any fabric scraps that inspire you. All tools and materials\, including fabrics\, will be supplied. Registration closes Feb 2. \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 3 \nMaximum # of Students: 6 \nCost: $85 ($10 materials fee paid to instructor) \nDate: Two Thursdays\, Starting Feb 5 (Feb 5 & Feb 12) (10am-12:30pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
