DESCRIPTION:During this 8 hour workshop Roman Polny\, The Caning Guy\, will guide participants as they reweave their pre-approved piece of furniture. Roman will start the workshop with a recap from the Caning Demo demonstrating how to successfully reweave chair seats. Support will be given to the group\, as well as each participant individually. Don’t forget to bring your lunch as a half hour lunch break will be part of the schedule. \n***Caning Demo is a prerequisite to this workshop. DESCRIPTION:What is caning? How is it done? In anticipation of our upcoming Caning Workshop\, Roman Polny\, The Caning Guy\, will explore the art of chair caning and weaving. Participants will get a live demonstration of how to weave a chair seat with natural cane\, along with an informational discussion about the art of caning. If you’re interested in participating in our Caning Workshop\, please bring the item(s) you’re considering for repair.
