SUMMARY:Felted Mouse House
DESCRIPTION:Join felt artist and teacher Elizabeth Stubbs for a day of felting in the Loft. Students will start the day by wet-felting the forms needed to construct the basic house structure. Then students will needle-felt smaller forms and embellishments which will be attached to create a magnificent house for a mouse! This beautiful piece of art can adorn your home or seasonal display. Hand-sewing skills are a plus\, but not required. Students should wear clothing that they don’t mind getting a little wet. All materials will be supplied. There will be a materials fee ($35 payable to the instructor directly) for a kit that will include all the materials you need for class! This is a day long workshop (10am-3pm) so please bring lunch for the half hour break! This is a ruler-free\, pattern-free\, judgement-free basic quilting class for beginners and sewers of all experience levels hoping to experiment with a more improvisational approach.
