DESCRIPTION:Join instructor Kathy Aluia in the loft to make a 20” x 20” quilted modern wall hanging incorporating two to four solid fabrics. Learn the basics of machine piecing the four\, 6” square blocks that make up this simple but bold design. We will cover efficient cutting techniques\, machine piecing\, hand and machine quilting methods\, and binding. We will discuss options for mounting and hanging your project. Materials list will be provided after registration. DESCRIPTION:Spend a pleasant morning making a beautiful pumpkin or gourd to decorate for the fall. Needle felting is easy to learn and requires little space. This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous felting experience. All materials will be supplied at a cost of $30 to be paid directly to the instructor and participants may take home their tools so that they can continue this craft which many find addictive. You will leave with an\nextensive packet of information for future reference and a drawstring bag. \n**Please note\, this class is the prerequisite for the machine sewing project classes being offered this season.** \nThis informative class is a skills class that will certify you to independently use the AIC lab and machines.
