DESCRIPTION:Join us for this fun and informative fundamental machine sewing class.  We will introduce the sewing machine and essential sewing tools and provide information on fabric and how to shop for supplies. You will leave with an extensive packet of information and skills samples for future reference.  \n This informative class is a skills class that will certify you to independently use the AIC lab and machines. In this class you will work with sweater knit fabrics\, in a choice of two colorways\, to make a pair of cozy reversible fingerless gloves.  You will learn the fundamentals of glove construction and some specialized finishing techniques.  Go home with a pattern\, step-by-step instructions\, and a pair of reversible fingerless gloves. Registration closes Jan 26. \n**Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Machine Sewing or basic machine sewing experience. \nMinimum Number of Students: 3 \nMaximum Number of Students: 8 \nCost: $50 (+$15 materials fee paid to instructor) \nDate: Sat\, Jan 28 (10am-12:30pm) \n
