DESCRIPTION:Contemporary appliqué provides an opportunity to explore a meditative approach to fiber art. In this two-session class\, you will create your unique hand-sewn bird motif on a linen background. This appliqué project is intricate yet delicate\, showcasing layers of hand-sewn fabrics. Please bring reading glasses if needed\, along with any fabric scraps that inspire you. All tools and materials\, including fabrics\, will be supplied. Registration closes Sept 14. \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 3 \nMaximum # of Students: 6 \nCost: $85 ($15 materials fee paid to instructor) \nDate: Two Wednesdays\,Wed Sept 17 & Wed Sept 24 (10am-1pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.

All the materials will be provided\, but attendees can also bring in woven (not stretchy) clothing they would like to practice this technique on.
