DESCRIPTION:The AIC is pleased to introduce an Upcycle with Embroidery Class for Teens. In this class\, students will learn 6 fundamental embroidery stitches and add an embroidered floral motif to an upcycled sweatshirt. Please bring a pre-worn sweatshirt or hoodie to class.  \nA wide range of embroidery floss and stick-and-stitch floral motifs will be available for use in designing on your sweatshirt. Take home your embroidery samples\, your embellished sweatshirt\, and an embroidery kit that includes a 6-inch wooden embroidery hoop\, embroidery floss\, embroidery needles\, a threader\, and an illustrated information packet to help you continue stitching at home. Open to Grades 6-9. Registration closes Feb 23. \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 4 \nMaximum # of Students: 8 \nCost: $95 (materials included – please bring a pre-worn sweatshirt or hoodie) \nDate: Three Thursdays starting Feb 26 (Feb 26\, Mar 5 and Mar 12) (3:45pm-5:15pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
