SUMMARY:Two Session Workshop: Modern Hexagon Trivet
DESCRIPTION:Working with hexagons presents an opportunity to explore a modern twist on the classic English Paper Piecing quilting technique. In this two-session intermediate sewing workshop\, you will create your own unique collection of hexagons and quilt them to a linen background. This quilted textile piece will then be made into a trivet. Please feel free to bring any quilting cotton fabric scraps that inspire you. All tools and materials\, including assorted color-themed fabrics\, will be provided. Registration closes Jan 5. \nSewing Certification\, or the ability to thread a sewing machine and\nwind a bobbin\, is required. \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 3 \nMaximum # of Students: 6 \nCost: $85 ($15 materials fee paid to instructor) \nDate: Two Thursdays\, Starting Jan 8 (Jan 8 & Jan 15) (10am-12:30pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
