DESCRIPTION:Summer accessories add a splash of color to your wrist or ankle. In this open studio class\, you will design your own trio of bracelets or anklets and learn simple stringing techniques. An assortment of colorful seed beads\, spacer beads\, charms\, and buttons will be available for you to use in your design. You will go home with your finished bracelets or anklets and step-by-step instructions for future use. SUMMARY:Wire Wrapped Cocktail Ring
DESCRIPTION:In this class students will receive step by step instruction on how to craft a beautiful cocktail ring using wire wrapping techniques. \nDuring the first portion of the class students will focus on a basic design using sterling silver wire and Swarovski crystal. Then it will be time for students to practice what they’ve learned! There will be a choice of wire (sterling silver\, rose gold\, gold filled) and students will be able to pick from a variety of centers such as sea glass or Swarovski crystal to make a one of a kind design. Students will also learn the purpose and use of different tools such as ring mandrels and jewelry pliers. DESCRIPTION:Learn to weave a Nantucket Lightship Basket Bracelet with Abby Fisher of Fisher Nantuckets. In this introductory class\, you will learn to hand-weave your own 1/2″ bracelet. The class will be 2.5 hours long and will include time for light refreshments and a brief history of the Nantucket Lightship Basket. At the end of the class\, you will have made your own piece of wearable art! \nThe iconic weaving style of the Nantucket Lightship Basket is native to our shores\, as it began off the coast of Nantucket during the late 1800s.
