SUMMARY:Jewelry: Open Studio Necklace and Earrings
DESCRIPTION:Summer is the perfect time to wear necklaces and earring sets that work well with jeans and a tee\, a dress\, or simple tank tops. In this open studio class\, you will design your own necklace and simple drop earrings and learn basic stringing and wire work techniques. An assortment of colorful frosted sea glass beads\, spacer beads\, and clasps will be available for you to use in your design. You will go home with your finished necklace and step-by-step instructions for future use. SUMMARY:Wire Wrap Sterling Silver Earrings
DESCRIPTION:In this class students will receive step by step instructions to make a simple pair of elegant sterling silver drop earrings using wire wrapping techniques. \nStudents will start by making a basic design using headpins and beads. Then\, it’s time to get creative and practice the new skill! Students will have a variety of beads and other materials to choose from in creating their unique drop earring design(s). Students will learn the purpose and application of tools such as round and needle-nose pliers and understand the basic differences amongst wire gauges and styles.
