SUMMARY:Machine Sewing Certification: Drawstring Backpack
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for camp or the pool. Join us for this fun and informative Machine Sewing Certification class and make a Lined Drawstring Backpack to keep or gift. Upon completion of this class\, students will be certified to use the AIC sewing machines independently during Open Maker Hours. We will introduce you to the AIC sewing machines\, sewing tools\, and equipment available in the maker space. No machine sewing experience is required. You will gain sewing experience by making a Lined Drawstring Backpack from pre-selected fabrics\, threads\, and cords. Go home with a packet of information\, a pattern\, and written instructions for future use.  Registration closes Jun 1. \nSewing Certification projects are new each month. You may repeat this class if a future project interests you. \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 3 \nMaximum # of Students: 6 \nCost: $25 (materials included) \nDate: Wed\, Jun 4 (10am-12:30pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
