SUMMARY:Machine Sewing Certification: Handled Lunch Bag
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this fun and informative Sewing Certification class and make a Handled Drawstring Bag to keep or gift. This class will introduce you to the AIC sewing machines\, tools\, and equipment available in the maker space. You will learn the fundamentals of machine operation\, including machine setup\, threading\, bobbin winding\, and selecting the appropriate stitch. Upon completing this class\, you will be certified to use the AIC sewing machines independently during Open Maker Hours. No machine sewing experience is required\, but you will gain sewing experience by\nmaking a handled bag. A variety of fabrics and threads will be available for selection.  Registration closes Sept 7. \n  \nMinimum # of Students: 3 \nMaximum # of Students: 6 \nCost: $35 (materials included) \nDate: Wed\, Sept 10 (10am-12:30pm) \n  \nJust a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
