This hands-on sewing fundamentals class is designed for absolute beginners. You’ll learn essential machine skills from setup to finished seams\, then apply them to create a personalized Fall or Halloween Tote Bag. By the end of class\, you will be certified to use the sewing machines independently during Open Maker Hours. \nLimited seats available. Registration closes September 30. \nIn a supportive\, beginner-friendly setting instructor Carson Eddy will demystify the sewing tools and equipment. You will then put your new skills to work creating a tote bag in your choice of festive Fall and Halloween cotton prints. You’ll take home a finished project\, a reference packet for future sewing adventures\, and the confidence and certification to keep practicing during Open Maker Hours.
