Join instructor Matt Day for a two-evening wooden spoon carving workshop where you’ll hand-carve a generously sized serving spoon from raw wood — start to finish. The spoon you’ll make is designed for real kitchen use: an extra-large bowl for generous serving and a stout\, comfortable handle built for everyday cooking. It’s functional craft at its best. \nLimited seats available. Registration closes September 28. \nThis beginner-friendly wood carving class welcomes students of all levels.  Some background in woodworking\, hand carving\, or other handcrafting is helpful. If you love working with your hands\, you’ll feel right at home. \nWhat to expect: \n\nTwo-night workshop — build skills across both sessions\nHand-carve a large serving spoon from raw wood\nGuided instruction\n\n  \nPrerequisite: No experience needed \nMin # of Students: 4 \nMaximum # of Students: 8 \nCost: $165 (materials included) \nDate: Two Thursdays\, Oct 1 & 8 (6:00 pm-8:00 pm) \nInstructor: Matt Day \n  \nClasses that do not meet the minimum enrollment will be canceled.
