You are welcome to use our equipment (3D printers\, Cricut Makers\, and/or Sewing Machines) once you have been certified.* Open Maker Hours is intended for those who are aged middle school plus. Children UNDER the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. \n*To be certified on our equipment please sign up for one of our Certifications or register for Sewing Fundamentals. If certified patrons would like to make an appointment with Abby to use the laser please sign up here. \nJust a friendly reminder that you must provide your own materials and there is no instruction provided unless otherwise stated. The equipment may not be available as it is first come first serve. DESCRIPTION:This course is geared towards students who have had some experience in watercolor. The focus will be practicing the essential techniques of watercolor with a simple project each week. The projects often focus on particular skills\, especially understanding values\, water to pigment ratios\, washes\, color mixing to give your work form and dimension. All projects are demonstrated step-by-step and individual assistance is offered. The projects are nature-based including flowers\, birds\, landscapes\, seascapes\, still life fruit and vegetables. DESCRIPTION:This relaxed watercolor class is geared towards watercolor students who have taken a beginner class and are more familiar with the main watercolor techniques. \nThis class will be project-based and any techniques required for the particular project will be reviewed. The projects will include subjects like fruit and vegetables\, flowers that are not too complex\, landscapes with a tree and/or barn\, seascapes with a boat or lighthouse\, a leaf\, and bird or animal. All the line drawings for each project will be provided to trace or freehand draw with live demonstrations of each step in the painting process (including color mixing). One-on-one attention is provided continually during class. Materials List linked below.
