SUMMARY:Intermediate Painting: Paint Application and Color (Zoom)
DESCRIPTION:Join Nicholas Mancini on Zoom to explore paint application\, glazing\, mark making and other techniques\, with an emphasis on color. In this course students will learn advanced oil painting techniques to help enrich their artistic voice and visual expression. Projects will begin with representational subject matter like still life and landscape\, however students can explore other subject matter in more personal projects. Classes will include demonstrations\, discussions highlighting examples from art history\, and group critiques. This course is intended for students who have taken an introductory painting course and/or have some basic experience working with oils. DESCRIPTION:Open Maker Hours is offered to students\, artists\, and makers who would like to use our studio space to continue their work independently. Our makerspaces and equipment are available outside of the traditional classroom experience. We encourage you to use Maker Lab time to join others who may share your creative interests as you explore your craft. \nOpen Maker Hours is a time to use the equipment for which you’ve been certified (3D printer\, Cricut Maker\, printing press and/or sewing machine) or to use our studio space. It is a wonderful opportunity be inspired\, collaborate with others\, and finish projects. The cost is $5 and you must provide your own materials. Masks must be worn. Reservations are required. \nCost: $5
