Instructor: Carson Eddy is a teacher, designer, author, and textile artisan with 30+ years of experience teaching a range of sewing, jewelry-making, and craft skills. A strong believer in the power of creativity, Carson enjoys sharing her knowledge and teaching people new skills so they can discover their creative potential. Carson received her M.F.A. in Costume Design, from Carnegie Mellon University.
Learn the basics of garment construction by making a tank top from woven fabric. This tank is simple to make and comfy to wear. In this class you will work with a sewing pattern, learn the basics of garment construction and finishing techniques. You will leave with a pattern, instructions, and a tank top. Registration closes May 3.
The patterns will be provided in the size of your choice (0 – 18). Materials will include 100% cotton fabric and thread.
