Overview

The Weston Art & Innovation Center is housed in the Town of Weston’s original public library, built in 1899. The building’s award-winning design is one that honors the historic architecture of the past, while incorporating modern elements that inspire us to look towards the future. Spaces in the building are available to rent for social gatherings, meetings, and other private functions.

Reading Room

The library’s Reading Room has been restored to its original early 20th century splendor. The space is for receptions, performances, lectures, exhibitions, movies, classes, and workshops.

Conference Room

The library’s original circulation area, the Conference Room is available for meetings and instruction. The space is also suited for catering setup in conjunction with the adjacent kitchenette.

The Loft Makerspace

The former stacks area on the upper floor is a beautiful light filled makerspace. The Loft and its equipment support activities such as 3D printing, sewing, and photography.

The Tool Shed Makerspace

The original children’s library on the lower floor is our other makerspace. The Toolshed is ideal for projects such as painting, floral design, printmaking and laser cutting.

The entire Main Floor of the AIC is available for rent, perfect for a wide range of intimate events such as a wedding, birthday celebration, or company offsite.
