The Toolshed: Discover, Explore, Fabricate
The Toolshed, one of two Weston Art & Innovation Center dedicated makerspaces, is located on the lower level. Here, visitors actively engage in hands-on projects and creative exploration across multiple disciplines. Notably, the fully resourced studio provides the tools and collaborative environment you need to experiment, build, and develop your craft effectively.
Classes and Activities: Diverse programming keeps creativity flowing. These activities include laser cutting, 3D printing, printmaking, and our popular Fix-It First series. Additionally, drop-in activities and various craft sessions provide flexible learning options for all skill levels. Community members can participate in structured classes or explore equipment independently.
Equipment and Access: The Toolshed features professional-grade fabrication equipment that supports serious creative work. Specifically, we maintain a laser cutter, multiple 3D printers, a printing press, and a comprehensive set of standard tools.
