Friendship Bracelets are all the rage! Join us to learn Kumihimo, a traditional Japanese weaving technique created on a disc. In this class, you will experiment with 8-cord patterns using cording in various colors. We will discuss 16-cord and 32-cord patterns, beaded Kumihimo, and various ways to finish more advanced jewelry pieces.

You will go home with your finished 8-cord bracelets, a custom Kumihimo disc (laser cut at the AIC), and clear step-by-step instructions. Other Kumihimo disks and bobbins will be available to be used independently during Open Maker Hours. Registration closes Feb 10.
