Learn a quick and easy way to make textured cuff bracelets! This course will focus on forming a set of cuffs utilizing copper and sterling silver. Students will texture and form their metal into varying sizes, shapes, and patterns using numerous metalsmithing hammers. The class will discuss a variety of hammer striking methods and how to best control your hammer mark! To finish, the class will learn how to put finishing touches onto the edges and ends of their cuff bracelets to ensure a comfortable piece of jewelry for the wrist. Each cuff can be embellished with a different texture or designed as a uniform set. Time permitting, the instructor will cover how to add a decorative rivet element for an extra pop of texture and intrigue.
