Maker Hours are offered to students, artists, and makers who would like to use our studio space to continue their work independently. Our makerspaces and equipment are available outside of the traditional classroom experience. We encourage you to use Maker Hours to join others who may share your creative interests as you explore your craft.
Maker Hours are a time to use the equipment for which you’ve been certified. It is a wonderful opportunity be inspired, collaborate with others, and finish projects. Studio space is available when there are no classes being held and during designated Maker Hours. Please check our calendar. The cost is $5 and you must provide your own materials.
The following equipment is available to use at the AIC. Most require certification for independent use. Certifications for Cricut, 3D printers, and laser cutter are available on this calendar. Sewing machine training is included in Sewing Fundamentals classes. Printing press training is included with all printmaking classes.
