Ian Roy is the Director for Research Technology and Innovation in Brandeis University’s Library. He is also the Founding Head of the Brandeis MakerLab and an Adjunct Professor at the Brandeis International Business School – and a Lecturer in the Anthropology Department. Ian currently serves on the board of the Weston Art & Innovation Center.
How do drones work? What are they good for? What are the laws around drones today? How do you learn to build and fly drones? In this session, we will look at what is possible with drones today. Participants will get a chance to fly a small indoor drone, and to feel what a racing drone is like on a simulator. Registration closes at 6pm on Friday Mar 11.
