In this special certification class, you will learn all the basics to 3D printing. After a crash course, each student will have the opportunity to print a set of 3 mini plant pots. Students will need to return at a later date to pick up their completed print, at which point they can collect their pots and mini succulents!
3D printers can create prototypes, replacement parts, toys, jewelry, and much more in a matter of minutes with minimal training to get started. Want to learn how? Sign up to this class to learn the basics of 3D printing.
After going over the fundamental concepts of 3D printing, each student will learn how to find and prepare digital files for our Prusa 3D or Ender 3 printers. Beginners welcome! No 3D modeling experience required.
Upon completion of this class, students will be permitted to use the AIC Prusa printers during open maker hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
