This hands-on workshop invites participants to explore improvisational monotype printmaking inspired by the expressive, layered work of artist Melanie Yazzie. Participants will experiment with color and composition using a variety of pre-cut vellum shapes, layering spontaneous color choices to create dynamic, one-of-a-kind prints rich in movement. No prior printmaking experience is required—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to let the process lead. Registration closes June 1.
Minimum # of Students: 4
Maximum # of Students: 6
Cost: $85 (plus materials fee $20 paid to instructor)
Date: Two Thursdays starting Thurs, June 4 (Jun 4 & Jun 11) (1pm – 4pm)
