Reservations: Patrons may reserve the 3D printer for up to 6 hours at a time during the day. Time can be reserved up to 3 weeks in advance.

Overnight prints: Prints that require more than 6 hours may be started up to 2 hours before closing and allowed to run overnight. For example, if the building closes at 9 p.m. and you want to start a 12-hour print, you may start it no earlier than 7 p.m. To book an overnight print, select your desired start time and book through the final available time slot. Overnight prints must be completed by the following morning. We reserve the right to cancel a print if another patron’s reservation begins while your print is still running.

First layer monitoring: As always, you must remain with the printer and monitor the first layer of your print before leaving.

Drop-ins: Drop-ins are welcome! Please check in with staff before starting a print so we can confirm whether an upcoming reservation may interfere with your print time.

Classes and workspace: Classes may be taking place during your reserved time. Please be mindful of ongoing classes and keep noise and disruptions to a minimum. Depending on the day, there may not be table space available to work on preparing or slicing your print, but you can still use your reservation time to get a print started.
