Intro to Laser and Leather: Passport Case
March 12, 2027 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
$55.00
Friday Morning Workshop
Cut, engrave, and stitch a passport case for your next adventure. With instructors Abby Shenker and Carson Eddy, transform precision laser-cut leather into a handsome, hand-sewn passport case built to last for years of travel. Create your passport case with step-by-step guidance and plenty of individual attention in a supportive small group setting. We provide all leather, waxed thread, and hand tools
Limited seats available. Registration closes March 10.
The laser precisely cuts the leather and will engrave a personalized travel icon. You’ll then lay out and hand-sew everything together with a classic leatherwork saddle stitch. You’ll leave with a bifold case with card pockets and a passport sleeve. Whether you’ve never used a laser or touched leather before or want to sharpen your hand-stitching skills, just bring your curiosity.
What you’ll learn in this leathercraft class:
- How laser-cut patterns make leather projects fast and precise
- The traditional saddle stitch for strong, durable seams
- Caring for full-grain leather so it ages beautifully
