Our Mission
Reading Room Music is a new music series that brings high quality artists and engaging concert experiences to Weston. We believe that great communities deserve great music.
About
Reading Room Music, hosted at the Weston Art & Innovation Center in Weston, MA, begins this fall of 2024 as a monthly music series bringing exceptional musical experiences to Boston’s Metrowest community. By presenting talented musicians, both acclaimed artists and emerging talents, Reading Room Music will showcase a variety of genres, including jazz, folk/Americana, classical, Broadway, and world music – in an intimate concert setting.
The Venue
The Art & Innovation Center, housed in a beautifully renovated 1899 building that was the town’s original library, features a vaulted, wood-trimmed room that served as the library’s original reading room. The building, which retains its old world elegance while providing modern amenities, is handicap accessible. Street parking is readily available directly outside and there is a parking lot a short walk down the street on the far side of the Josiah Smith Tavern.
