Watercolor: Advanced Beginners Series
September 8 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until October 20, 2026
Tuesday Afternoon Series: 7 Classes
Ready to paint beyond the basics? If you’ve completed the Beginners Watercolor Painting Series and feel comfortable with core techniques, this project-based intermediate watercolor class is your natural next step. Instructor Sally Meding actively guides you through each painting, reviewing techniques as needed and providing one-on-one attention throughout every session.
Limited Seats Available. Registration Closes September 5.
In this class, you’ll build your skills one painting at a time — and every project brings something new to explore. Sally leads live demonstrations of each step in the painting process, including color mixing, so you always know exactly where to go next. From there, you dive in, and Sally moves through the room offering personalized, one-on-one guidance as you work.
What You’ll Paint & Practice:
To start, you’ll tackle approachable, satisfying subjects like fruit, vegetables, and simple flowers. As you progress, you’ll move into landscapes featuring trees or barns, seascapes with boats or lighthouses, and studies of leaves, birds, and animals. Along the way, Sally provides all the line drawings for each project — ready for tracing or freehand drawing — so you can focus your energy on painting, not prep.
