One-Day Saturday Workshop

Bookbinders have kept this “Secret” Belgian bookbinding technique close for a reason. It is one of the most elegant and durable hand-bookbinding techniques in the craft. Join instructor Melony Poirier of Madden Lane Studios for a full-day bookbinding workshop to master this rare and beautiful method. Developed by Belgian bookbinder Anne Goy in 1986, Secret Belgian binding is prized for its exceptional strength and nearly invisible spine — a hallmark of refined, professional hand-bookbinding.

Limited seats available. Registration closes March 24.

Enjoy this full-day, hands-on workshop that builds directly on the skills learned in Bookbinding Fundamentals. By the end of class, you will leave with a hand-bound book you made yourself and the skills to continue binding long after the workshop ends.

Cost: $85 (materials included)
