Fiber Art: Fabric-Mâché Bowl Series

Saturday Morning Series: 2 Classes
Discover Fabric-Mâché — a stunning mixed-media art technique. Join instructor Carson Eddy for this two-session workshop on vessel-making for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
Limited seats available. Registration closes October 16.
Session 1: Build your bowl
Design and make your unique fabric-mâché bowl using a selection of forms, curated fabric scraps, and Mod Podge. A selection of fabrics will be available, but please feel free to bring any fabric scraps that inspire you.
Session 2: Finish & embellish (one week later)
Once your vessel has fully dried, we will remove it from the form, trim it, and finish the rim with an assortment of trims or embellishment methods for a polished result. Please feel free to bring any 1-yard lengths of trim that inspire you.
What’s included:
- All materials and a curated selection of fabrics
- An assortment of trims or embellishments
- Your finished bowl to keep or gift
Prerequisite: No experience needed
Min # of Students: 4
Max # of Students: 8
Cost: $55 ($10 materials fee paid to instructor)
Optional to Bring: Fabric scraps or trims that inspire you
