Instructor: Elizabeth Stubbs is a felt artist living and working in Nahant, Massachusetts. She has a BFA from Boston University School for the Arts in painting, and has spent many years as a fine artist, illustrator, and teacher. She also holds a MEd from Antioch University in Early Childhood with a Waldorf certificate. It was during this teacher training that she was first exposed to the art of felt making and has been making felt for over 20 years. She teaches felt making classes and workshops in the greater Boston area.
To celebrate the winter solstice, we will create a beautiful snowy owl. Needle felting is relaxing and easy to learn and many find it addictive. This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous needle felting experience. All materials will be supplied at a cost of $25 to be paid directly to the instructor and participants may take home their tools. Registration closes Dec 17.
