In this short, hands-on workshop, participants create a painted paper artwork inspired by the idea of community. Using simple water-based pigments on heavy paper that is already cut as a single piece, students explore how colors, marks, and patterns can represent connection, diversity, and belonging. Rather than cutting or assembling, participants focus on painting, layering washes, and adding details directly onto the paper surface. The workshop emphasizes creativity, reflection, and how individual choices contribute to a shared theme. No prior art experience is needed. Open to participants 10+.
