Instructor: Carson Eddy is a teacher, designer, author, and textile artisan with 30+ years of experience teaching a range of sewing, jewelry-making, and craft skills. A strong believer in the power of creativity, Carson enjoys sharing her knowledge and teaching people new skills so they can discover their creative potential. Carson received her M.F.A. in Costume Design, from Carnegie Mellon University.
Join us to make a pair of Canvas Baskets. These baskets can be used for storing all sorts of things or as adorable planters. These baskets will be made in a choice of several sizes and fabrics. Any beginner can master this project in a morning. In this class you will work with sewing patterns, learn the basics of project construction, and finishing techniques. You will leave with a pattern, instructions, and a pair of Canvas Baskets! Registration closes Sept 28.
**Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Machine Sewing or basic machine sewing experience.
