Join us for the Weston Public Library & AIC Halloween Costume and Decoration Swap!

Do you have any costumes, accessories, or decorations you no longer need?  Drop them off and let us help them find a new home!  Do you need costumes or decorations?  Come “shop” free, local, and sustainable at our swap!

Drop off will start on Wednesday, Sept 18th (10am-8pm), Thursday, Sept 19th (10am-1pm), Friday, Sept 20th (10am-1pm), and the actual swap will take place on Saturday, Sept 21st (10am-3pm).

All items that remain will be repurposed for programming at the WPL and AIC or donated.

Do I have to donate costumes, accessories, or decorations in order to participate in the swap?

No, you will be able to “shop” on Saturday, Sept 21st (10am-3pm) whether or not you donate.  We’ll also have a grab & go craft project you can pick up while you are here.

Is there anything I shouldn’t donate?

All types and sizes of costumes and accessories for adults, kids, and pets and all styles of decoration are welcome!  Please use your judgment – if you think it might offend others or isn’t in shape to share, please leave it home.  No makeup or face paint please, unless it is still sealed, and no weapons (real or fake).  We are happy to answer questions if you aren’t sure.

How many costumes and decorations can I take?

There is no limit to the number of free costumes and decorations you can take with you. We just ask that you please be respectful to other folks who also might be interested in items and to always be kind.
