Instructor: Melony Poirier is an artist / graphic designer/ bookbinder with a passion for the Book Arts. She enjoys teaching others the joy of bookmaking and often incorporates a book structure into her art. She resides in Southern Rhode Island with her husband and daughter and owns Madden Lane Studios.
Come and learn the “Secret” Belgian bookbinding technique with Melony Poirier from Madden Lane Studios. This binding was created by Anne Goy of Belgium in 1986 and offers a binding that is strong and can be nearly invisible. This course follows Bookbinding Fundamentals. All materials will be provided. Come enjoy a fun day of learning to make your own book! Prerequisite Bookbinding Fundamentals. Registration closes Apr 8.
