Thursday Morning Workshop

New to machine sewing? This beginner sewing workshop is the perfect starting point.  Jump-start your sewing journey in this hands-on Sewing Fundamentals Workshop designed for absolute beginners. Instructor Carson Eddy will help you get acquainted with sewing machines, tools, and equipment — then put your new skills to work creating a festive Bottle Bag to take home or gift.

Upon completion of this workshop you will be certified to use the sewing machines independently during Open Maker Hours.

What you’ll learn

• How to set up a sewing machine
• Winding & loading a bobbin
• Threading the machine correctly
• Sewing a complete beginner project
