Sewing Fundamentals: Linen Market Tote
April 15, 2027 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
$45.00
Thursday Morning Workshop
One day, one machine, one sturdy bag for every farmer’s market run. Sew your own spring market tote and walk out ready to use it. This small-group class introduces you to the Weston Art and Innovation Maker Space sewing machines, tools, and equipment. You’ll choose your fabric and thread, sew a roomy market tote, and head home with your finished piece and a reference packet.
Limited seats available. Registration closes April 14.
Whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or just need a refresher, bring your curiosity and we’ll handle the rest. You’ll set up a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and thread it yourself, then use those new skills to stitch seams and attach sturdy straps. You’ll leave with a tote that’s ready for your next trip to the farmer’s market.
What you’ll learn in this sewing class:
- How to set up the AIC sewing machines
- Winding a bobbin and threading the machine
- Sewing a finished project from start to finish
