Tired of pinning, taping, or paying someone else to fix your hems? Learn to finish your garments with clean, professional hemmed edges. This hands-on skills class pairs clear demonstrations with plenty of one-on-one help. All materials are included.

Explore a range of hemming techniques using hand-stitched and machine-sewn methods. Round out your new skills by learning how to hem jeans. Please bring a pair of denim pants or jeans to hem.

What you’ll learn in this sewing skills class:

• Measuring, marking, and pressing
• Hand-sewn and machine-sewn hemming techniques, including denim
• Choosing the right hem for your fabric and project
