You love what you’ve done so far with Cricut and/or laser cutting, but you want to get even more custom! How do you take a hand sketch and turn it into a digital vector file for machine cutting?
This two-hour workshop will demonstrate different strategies for taking your hand drawing and converting it into digital vector line art using Inkscape, a free vector program.
After a demonstration of three different techniques by the instructor, every student will try their hand at making a vector drawing themselves. Registration closes Oct 1.
Prerequisite: Basic computer skills
If you’re not sure about your computer skills, we recommend signing up for a free session at the Weston Public Library here.
Maximum: 4 students
Cost: $45
Date: Wed, Oct 4 (5:30pm-7:30pm)
Just a friendly reminder that classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled.
