Prusa MK3S Time (Requires Certification)

Before booking: Patrons must be certified before booking a reservation. Certifications can be booked here.

Reservations: Patrons may reserve the 3D printer for up to 6 hours at a time during the day. Prints that require more than 6 hours may be started up to 2 hours before closing and allowed to run overnight. For example, if the building closes at 9 p.m. and you want to start a 12-hour print, you may start it no earlier than 7 p.m. To book an overnight print, select your desired start time and book through the final available time slot. Overnight prints must be completed by the following morning. We reserve the right to stop a print if another patron’s reservation begins while your print is still running.

First layer monitoring: As always, you must remain with the printer and monitor the first layer of your print before leaving.

Drop-ins: During Open Maker Hours, a reservation is not required and the equipment is first come, first served. Reservations can be made during Open Maker Hours and will take priority over drop-ins. Toolshed Open Maker Hours are Tuesday 1pm-5pm, Thursday 1pm-5pm, and Saturday 2pm-7pm.

Cancellation policy: Reservations cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and missed reservations/no-shows are nonrefundable.
