Instructor: Carson Eddy is a teacher, designer, author, and textile artisan with 30+ years of experience teaching a range of sewing, jewelry-making, and craft skills. A strong believer in the power of creativity, Carson enjoys sharing her knowledge and teaching people new skills so they can discover their creative potential. Carson received her M.F.A. in Costume Design, from Carnegie Mellon University.
Join us to make your very own heathered wool felt tote. Black leather handles and adjustable cross body strap complete the look! Students will explore bag making, including machine sewing and leather working techniques. Students will leave with detailed instructions and a completed tote! Please select wool felt color during registration. The materials kit is a final sale. If you must cancel you may either find someone to take the class in your place or pick up the materials kit from the AIC after the class has taken place. Registration closes Oct 15.
**Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Machine Sewing or basic machine sewing experience.
